Aurigma Advanced PSD Add-on - Additional module for Graphics Mill for .NET intended for PSD file processing.

Features:

- Read raster layers (bitmap, name, dimensions, position, visibility, etc)
- Read text layers (raster representation, text string, font settings, color, region size, etc)
- Get number of layers;
- Get pre-rendered preview of the PSD file (with all layers merged);
- Work with PSD files created in all Photoshop versions since 7 (including CS2).

Whenever you create an application which generates personalized graphics, edit printing production, you encounter a challenge - how to store templates for that graphics. As usual some custom format is developed for this purpose. But as usual a person who designs these templates cannot use it directly. Designers use some industry-standard application such as Adobe Photoshop etc. Hence you face a problem of converting between files your designer creates and your custom template format.

Advanced PSD Add-on allows to eliminate this repetitive and costly step. Your designers can create templates in Adobe Photoshop and then your application can use these files directly. It allows to avoid maintaining a custom template format and evolving technicians into work of designers.
Combining features of Advanced PSD Add-on and Graphics Mill for .NET you can a powerful pre-print processing tool which enables:

- Scan PSD file with raster and text layers.
- Merge all frames into one image (TIFF, PDF, JPEG, etc).
- When merging, replace text or images, e.g. by loading it from database or localization resources.
- Create multiple versions of image for different viewing environments (e.g. hi-res for printing, lo-res for web preview, or even specially optimized for mobile devices).
- Provide CMYK <-> RGB conversion with color management (using ICC profiles).
- Manipulate most wide-spread layer settings, such as text font, color, position, size, etc.

These terms and conditions apply to the Aurigma Graphics Mill for .NET program, its addons, documentation, and any other accompanying files distributed with Graphics Mill for .NET (referred to as "Software"). The following is applicable to the Software:

You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this Software. Your use of this Software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.

For all the versions

The Software is the intellectual property of Aurigma Inc., and may not be copied except of backup purposes and cases which are provided by terms of license.

Back-engineering of any version of this Software is strictly forbidden. All kinds of debugging, hex decoding, loading into editor or altering of the product for distribution by illegal means will be discovered through active search.

You are responsible to fulfill all reasonable actions to keep a license key from being disclosed to third parties.

In particular do not distribute .lic files to third-parties, and embed it into the resources of your application if possible.

If the Software includes any portion of its source code, the following points are applied:

* You agree not disclose the source to any third parties without written permission from Aurigma Inc.

* You undertake all reasonable efforts to keep the source code unattainable to unauthorized persons. Authorized persons are employees of the Aurigma and your technical staff who will directly work with the source code.

* You agree to use the source code only for customization, maintenance, security audit, and back-up purposes. For all other purposes written permission of Aurigma is required.

* You are not permitted to reuse any portions of the source code in other products.

* If the source code includes any license checking part, you are prohibited to remove it.

These limitations are not applied to the demo applications and code samples included into the documentation of the Software.

You are also prohibited from distributing the Software and/or documentation with other products (commercial or otherwise) if the license does not allow it explicitly.

Aurigma Inc. does not response for the site content/results of application work though. In case of granting your rights to another company you are obliged to stop using the Software at all and erase all its copies.

For Trial version

You may make as many copies of the Trial version of the Software as you wish. You may also distribute them freely. You may not charge anyone for distributing the Trial copy. The Trial copy must be in its original untouched form. No part of the program or documentation may be changed.

For Single Server Licensed Version

One single server license grants you a non-exclusive right to install and use the Software on single server and single workstation. You may transfer the Software to another computer only if you delete the previous installation.

For Windows Forms Developer Licensed Version

One developer license grants you a non-exclusive right to install and use the Software on single workstation with one developer and distribute it as a part of your applications (royalty free). Your application must be end-user Windows Forms software (rather than library, component or some other software intended to be a part of another application). The Software must not be used in server applications. You can use the Software with unlimited number of end-user applications. Users of your applications cannot develop their applications using the Software until they purchase license for themselves.

THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the various hardware and software environments into which Software may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

You must assume the entire risk of using the program. ANY LIABILITY OF AURIGMA INC. WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
